Malunggay Food Festival Last Summer

We recently had an exciting activity in Imus. As part of the activity, I've decided to call it "malunggay food festival" because all the food and drinks we have prepared contains malunggay as one of the ingredients. I like the event because it's all about food and the transportation was amazing. We traveled to the venue by riding a rented vehicle, just like the cars for rent offered by Philippines Car Rentals industry. It was really memorable.

According to Wikipedia, malunggay is a nutritious green leafy vegetable.

"Malunggay has potential to improve nutrition, boost food security, foster rural development, and support sustainable landcare.[2] It may be used as forage for livestock, a micronutrient liquid, a natural anthelmintic and possible adjuvant."
So, here are some of the food with malunggay that we have prepared.

Taste of Spaghetti Cooked At Home

Hi everyone! I know that I haven't posted here for a long while. I was busy attending a lot of work-related activities even during Saturdays. We had fun swimming in the river with my family and friends. We rented a vehicle to reach the place and prepared food for everyone. We ate snacks while on road. Luckily, we had an amazing car rental package offered by a Philippines Car Rentals
company. It was really fun!
For now, I'll just share with you my favorite Spaghetti cooked at home using stocked ingredients.

Actually, this was cooked when I wasn't able to complete my grocery tasks for the week. So, I just had Spaghetti cooked at home to save time and resources amidst busy days. Here, the basic ingredients of Spaghetti cooked at home like tomato sauce, cheese, toppings and ground meat are used.

Ham and Double Cheese Sandwich and Shrimp Bisque

-->
I’ve been very busy for the last three months, that’s why I was not able to update this food blog. Our transfer to a new home is one of the reasons why I’m so busy. Luckily, I had a chance to rent a vehicle for the transfer. It was like those offered by Philippines Car Rentals companies but much cheaper. Over all, it was a successful activity.

Here’s a new portion of this blog, the Recipes for the Week post. For this week, let me share to you two yummy snacks, the Ham and Double Cheese Sandwich and Shrimp Bisque.

Ham and Double Cheese Sandwich

This snack can be prepared within ten minutes. The serving is good for one person. What you’ll need are two bread slices, two slices Cheddar cheese, and one slice ham. How to do it? First, cut bread slices, cheese slices, and ham slice into star shapes using a star-shaped cookie cutter. Second, assemble the sandwich by layering a bread slice with cheese, ham, cheese, and then top with the other bread slice. In order to make more sandwiches, just multiply the recipe.

Shrimp Bisque

The second preparation for the recipes for the week is Shrimp Bisque. This snack is good for two to three people. The preparation time is fifteen minutes and the cooking time is ten minutes. You’ll need one third cup sliced celery, two tablespoons butter, one fourth cup crème cheese, one cup milk, three fourth cup tomato sauce, one cup frozen cooked tiny shrimps (thawed and drained) and pepper to taste. How to do it? First, sauté celery in butter on medium heat until tender. Second, reduce heat to low. Stir in cream cheese and milk; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Lastly, poor tomato sauce and add shrimp; season with pepper. Cook until mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally. Blend. Garnish with parsley and serve warm. That’s our recipes for the week. Thank you for reading.
