I’ve been very busy for the last three months, that’s why I was not able to update this food blog. Our transfer to a new home is one of the reasons why I’m so busy. Luckily, I had a chance to rent a vehicle for the transfer. It was like those offered by Philippines Car Rentals companies but much cheaper. Over all, it was a successful activity.
Here’s a new portion of this blog, the Recipes for the Week post. For this week, let me share to you two yummy snacks, the Ham and Double Cheese Sandwich and Shrimp Bisque.
Here’s a new portion of this blog, the Recipes for the Week post. For this week, let me share to you two yummy snacks, the Ham and Double Cheese Sandwich and Shrimp Bisque.
Ham and Double Cheese Sandwich
This snack can be prepared within ten minutes. The serving is good for one person. What you’ll need are two bread slices, two slices Cheddar cheese, and one slice ham. How to do it? First, cut bread slices, cheese slices, and ham slice into star shapes using a star-shaped cookie cutter. Second, assemble the sandwich by layering a bread slice with cheese, ham, cheese, and then top with the other bread slice. In order to make more sandwiches, just multiply the recipe.
Shrimp Bisque
The second preparation for the recipes for the week is Shrimp Bisque. This snack is good for two to three people. The preparation time is fifteen minutes and the cooking time is ten minutes. You’ll need one third cup sliced celery, two tablespoons butter, one fourth cup crème cheese, one cup milk, three fourth cup tomato sauce, one cup frozen cooked tiny shrimps (thawed and drained) and pepper to taste. How to do it? First, sauté celery in butter on medium heat until tender. Second, reduce heat to low. Stir in cream cheese and milk; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Lastly, poor tomato sauce and add shrimp; season with pepper. Cook until mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally. Blend. Garnish with parsley and serve warm. That’s our recipes for the week.
